Study with AI

Study with AI, together

A study group chat with Claude, OpenAI’s GPT and Gemini in it. Ask for explanations the whole group can see, quiz each other, and keep the key facts in shared Notes for the exam.

How it works

  1. Start a study roomPick the Study group template. The AI is set up as a patient tutor: hints before answers, working shown, a check question at the end.
  2. Invite your classmatesShare one invite link. Everyone sees every explanation, so nobody has to ask the same question twice.
  3. Ask, quiz and reviewAsk @AI to explain a topic, quiz the group one question at a time, or make a study plan. Save formulas and dates to Notes.

What it looks like

Biology study group
  • Ana

@AI Quiz us on cell respiration, one question at a time.

  • GPT · AI

Question 1: where in the cell does glycolysis happen? Answer in the chat and tag me when you are both done.

  • Ravi

    Cytoplasm?

  • Ana

    @AI Mitochondria. Who got it?

  • GPT · AI

Ravi did: glycolysis happens in the cytoplasm. Ana, the mitochondria come next, for the Krebs cycle. Question 2: what does glycolysis produce from one glucose?

An illustrative example. The people and the conversation are made up.

What you get

  • Explanations everyone sees

One question, one answer the whole group reads, step by step and in plain language.

  • Quizzes

The AI asks one question at a time, waits for answers, then says who got it and why.

  • Shared Notes

Save definitions, formulas and exam dates to the room’s Notes. Every AI reads them before every reply.

  • Three explanations to compare

Stuck on a topic? Ask Claude, GPT and Gemini and read three ways of explaining it side by side.

  • Your files

Ask about a PDF or a photo of your notes on a model that reads files.

  • Your language

Write in Portuguese, Spanish, Korean or any language you like and the AI answers in it. The app’s own menus come in 28 languages.

Questions

Will it just do our homework for us?

The Study group template sets the AI up as a tutor: it gives a hint before the full answer and shows its working. Use it to understand the material, and follow your school’s rules on using AI.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. splitscreen runs in the browser on a phone, a laptop or a tablet, with nothing to install.

Can it read our lecture notes?

Yes, on a model that reads files: attach a PDF or a photo and ask about it. Free replies do not include file reading.

What does it cost?

It is free to start: every account gets 50 free AI replies a day on fast models (GPT-6 Luna and Gemini Flash-Lite) once you verify your email. For stronger models, buy credits from $5 a pack. Or one person gets Squad for $15 a month: the whole $15 comes back as credit (about 1,600 smart replies a month), and friends in your rooms get stronger models from your credit, with a daily limit each. You can also bring your own API key, with no markup.
