A plan buys the room. The replies inside it are paid for separately, and the page below says exactly how. Every figure here is the same one the billing page shows once you are signed in, because both read it from the same file.
A plan buys the room: shared threads, per-member caps, the ledger. Replies are paid for separately, and there are two ways to do it. On your own key, your provider bills your account directly at their rates, with no markup from us. On credits, the reply runs on our provider accounts and we charge your balance one published price per reply - what the provider charges us, plus a 30% margin.
Most rooms want one of the two above. Squad is for the case they do not cover: one person paying for everybody, so a teammate with no key and no credits can still ask. The plan that pays for everyone else.

No. A pack of any size unlocks exactly the same models a Squad subscription does. The one thing a pack cannot do is pay for somebody else: covering a teammate reads the room owner’s plan, and no amount of credit sets that. If you are buying for yourself, buy a pack.
Credit you buy never expires, and if you ask within 14 days we refund the unused part. The monthly allowance that comes with Squad is different and the card says so: it expires shortly after your billing month ends, because it is part of that month rather than a balance you bought.
On your own key, whatever Anthropic, OpenAI or Google charges for it. It bills to your account and we add nothing. On credits, the reply runs on our provider account and your balance is charged what the provider charged us plus 30 percent, or 20 percent if the person paying is on Squad. That is one published price per reply rather than a subscription. The exact rates are on what each AI can do, and a worked example prices two replies line by line.
It is checked before the call is made, not after the reply arrives. Set a limit for the project - $2 or $200, whatever the room is worth - and a daily limit per person. What is left decides how long a reply the model is allowed to write, and a room with nothing left refuses before anybody is charged for finding out.
The demo is a whole room read end to end, with the receipts left on, and it is readable without an account.
